In the upgrade screen, you can do 2 things: Upgrade will strengthen a card (increase the card's "Level") by spending Salvage Points (SP)Sp. Salvage will scrap the card in your inventory and give you some SP in return.

NOTE : To upgrade a commander card requires twice SP as an assault or structure card at each level.

Tips[]

  • Usually you would want to salvage any cards you won't use, but some of them may be material of strong cards: see Fusions
  • You can upgrade Rare or better card once at no net loss of SP, as they are worth 5 SP more at level 2 than level 1 when salvaged.
    • thus Rare cards can be used as SP bank
  • Because the cost of upgrade become the same in all rarities since about Aug 29, 2013, investing SP in rarer cards gives more refunds when it become useless and is salvaged, if compared at the same level.

you lose 15 SP by making level 3 Common even if salvaging income is considered, while you pay 10 SP less to upgrade Epic to level 3 than how many SP you get from salvaging it.
